Life Lesson #4 - Faith in Humanity

If you saw my twitter and/or facebook update you saw that I mentioned, "Slowly but surely losing faith in all of humanity", I was referring to a hit and run incident that occurred while I was working at the pharmacy. Someone who was either a) under some sort of influence while driving b) blind c) a fucking moron or d) all of the above decides it's okay to hit my car while trying to park in the neighboring space. I know of all things going on in the world, this is such a small minute incident that should be and remain a bygone however, the damage that was done will not fix itself. The damage is beyond a tiny scratch or dent. The damage looks as if the so called "driver" made contact with my car and decided to proceed with complete disregard, raping the back end of my car. I can understand carts dinging a car or a slight door bump as a result of someone parking too close , but how the hell does someone hit a car that is parked completely centered in its space--far away from any other cars and main routes of traffic?! It irks me to have had an awesome day at work (1. Last Saturday I'll ever have to work, after having worked every Saturday of my life for the past 2 1/2 years 2. Pretty easy going day at work. 3. The Pharmacist let me go home early.) only to find some dumbfuck's lack of judgment/experience/conscience.

I know there are good people out there. People who do well for the sake of others, selflessly. But GD, some people are just so ignorant and an outright waste of space. These people ruin it for me. What makes matters worse is that I'm sure there was atleast one person who bore witness to what had happened and continued to walk about their business. Whatever happened to doing the right thing?

I doubt you'll ever read this, but to you... yes you, whether intentional or not, you'll get what's coming to you. Not by me, but by whatever/whoever comes your way. In due time, I hope you enjoy it.

p.s. Thinh, it was good running into you. Really excited for you and your new business venture. Congrats.
